In 2008 I quit a high paying job at a top automotive company to become a full time artist. For some reason I just couldn't wrap my mind around why I was starting to go crazy at such an easy, high paying job. It was because I wasn't able to make as much art as I would like. I didn't go to school for art, I just started drawing one day in 2003 and never stopped creating after that! I have so many ideas in my head that I often can't even sleep at night. My ultimate goal is to make enough money so that I could donate everything I make to raise money for charity. I want to be totally free to make art and help others in the process. It is very important to me to be able to give back and to use the gift of art to do so. I truly believe that having art in peoples lives not only enhances the beauty that surrounds us in a space, but it also has a certain feeling about it that we just cant obtain through something manufactured by a machine. I want people to be able to experience the work that I make. Not just as a pretty picture, but as a creation that has been carefully and thoughtfully made. Ultimately being able to give back a large amount of what I have been given.
